Do you know I haven't got a clue! The flower petals are frayed around the edges.

Not Honorine then. Sorry don't know that one. But look out for Whirlwind if you like them - its a beauty.

I think thats the one I've got. Looking at the pictures on- line at least. Any ideas on Sept/Oct flowering plants? Am a bit at a loss for colour this time of year in my garden.

Acidanthera are lovely but the bulbs need lifting for the winter. Hardy fuchsias are still going strong and so are Rudbeckias. Cosmos and potentilla fruticosa still flowering and also the little fibrous rooted begonias, but they aren't hardy. Soon be time for the Michaelmas daisies too, and of course Dahlias and chrysanthemums if the slugs don't get there before you. Can't grow them here for that reason. And of course there's always Erysimum Bowles Mauve that barely stops flowering all year. The autumn cyclamen are just starting to function as well.

Thank you. Have got most of them but probably not in large enough quantities to have an effect.

We are always told to plant in threes or fives - don't know about you but I usually plant in ones...wish I had the will power to do it "properly"

I'm the same! If I would plant 3 or five at a time I wouldn't be able to have room for so many different plants I so love in my garden! Also my perennials always need thinning out which give me more plants anyway.
