Oxalis lobata & Oxalis Melanosticta

What colour are the flowers of Oxalis Melanosticta? I can't see any flowers open on the plant at the moment.

I have some plants of Oxalis deppei growing on the balcony. I love the bright green foliage & the markings in the centre of the 4 leaflets that given it its name 'Iron Cross'! In fact I like it more for its leaves than its flowers!

The one behind still in bud has more attractive foliage and a quieter shade of yellow although quite clear, not muddy
I referred to it on the photo as a reminder to homebird that the one I sent her earlier in the year should have come out of it's dormancy now.that and lobata disappear totally through out the summer

I see the flower stems are just as lax as on my plants! Are the leaves 3 or 4 lobed? Even when I blew the picture up a lot bigger I still couldn't make them out! They seem smaller than on my plants as well.

the leaves on Melanosticta are are tighter together the first couple of flowers opened when the sun appeared for about 15 mins today will show a pic when some more come out.
am sure there is one from last year but did not find it maybe it is in a blog

would have expected eaves to be showing,but you are not living in cool damp Bristol.
your higher temperatures may keep them dormant longer I think about 18c for a few days seems to triggers them.

Difficult to say mine is always under cover,don't panic I expect it will grow in it's own good time
