Persicaria flowers....

This, Painter's Pallet has not flowered so far, but is much bigger than it has ever been in the past.

Our daughter's plant in the Midlands is treble the size of ours, and in much better condition!!

I think this is the nicest and best behaved of the Persicarias.

That's a lovely one, mine have done well this year too which is strange with the lack of rain !, they must have stocked up last winter lol.

I think you are probably right about stocking up with rain, now my soil is so dry, in order to dig more that one fork's depth having to pour a little water down the hole.

Yes it is extremely dry, at least it rained all night helped with the new planting......
