Well done.......we are still waiting for a well established plant to flower!!

A Grand Marnier? As with all Brugs, water and feed well. Very well actually. I used Phostrogen initially then switched to tommy feed at the end of June. I assume that your plant has not forked yet?

Flowers form in every fork. It should be blooming.

Thanks Sandra...... something has also been eating it!!

All Brugs get eaten!

Is it in the ground? If in the ground it should be taller, right? Especially with your very good moist soil.

I know all my Brugamnsias (and I have more than a dozen in the ground) get eaten by worms, caterpillars and spider mites, especially in the summer. They all grow and bloom best in later fall, winter and early spring.

Nowhere near hardy enough to plant out.

If it's in a pot, it looks perfect! Very healthy leaves and flowers. All my plants are all drought-stressed this time of year.

The current heatwave we're experiencing is not going to be good for my Brugmansia shrubs. Oh well, the heat advisory ends Monday night. :>))

Yes, it's in a pot and it is fed more than plenty!

So, just 20-25°c after Monday then!

Is the flower light yellow?

Not sure if you were asking me a question. It's going down to 90ºC (32ºC) on Tuesday and a few degrees cooler for the rest of the week. This is the time of the year we have really horrible heatwaves! Today and tomorrow it's even suppose to be very close to 100ºF (38ºC) right along the coast. 104ºF (40ºC) or hotter on mesas and inland areas (where I live). YUCK!

Yep, it's is a pale yellow fading to a cream colour after a day or three.

Jeez, I could still use that heat! I'd much rater deal with bonkers humidity and heat than the cold.

I asked because I never heard of this variety. I like the more unusual varieties.

I can't imagine using the heat! (this time of year). My morning low here was 75ºF (24ºC). It's 86ºF (30ºC) at 9:00 am. YUCK!!!

You probably wouldn't be too comfortable in this weather...it's the Santa Ana (wind) season. It gets extremely dry and very hot. Yesterday, here it was 101ºF (38.3ºC) with 10% humidity. It's a big change from last week's three days of heat and horribly high humidity from Hurricane Paine.

Delonix - it is one of the oldest cultivars......................

I can take heat and humidity. Sweating your whatsits off is preferable to shivering your whatsits off!!!!

I'll have to check out the variety. I'm sure it's available here just need to find one.

You would hate the heat we're experiencing right now. It's dry, but extremely hot to the coast. Actually, the beaches are having temps a little hotter than where I live, to 106ºF (41.1ºC).
