Hywel, I have grown three of these this year and wonder how to keep them over Winter. Any tips please? :o)

Thank you all :)
Sorry Shirley I have no tips for growing these. This is a new one that Beryl bought this year. I don't think it will survive the winter. They never do with me ...
I try to keep them dry in a frost free place but they just rot away,
and on the few occasions when they have survived, they always grow back looking very weedy and small :(

I do if you want tips , basically stop watering and if in a pot turn on its side , just let the stems drop off dont pull them off .
When ready clean all the soil/compost
Then they need to left to ripen in the sun , greenhouse is ideal for two to three weeks
Check for vine weevils , then a light dusting of Vitax yellow sulphur all over them and keep frost free somewhere cool and dark in a tray not touching each other.

I also have one that I bought a year ago & successfully kept over winter & started it off a 2nd time in March this year.
I wrote a blog on my Begonias a couple of months ago. I only have one yellow & the majority are dark red. I also have a couple that are white, one that is orange-red & one that is a deep pink. I also have a number of trailing Begonias I like very much & can't stop myself from taking photos of them!
I have 13 pots of Begonias on the balcony railings most of which are still flowering & several hanging baskets with Begonias!
I bought several packets of Begonia corms last year, in May, which flowered very well during the summer. I kept them dry during the winter & started them off about March this year. I only lost 2 or 3 tubers of about 20 that I had!

That's good going :)

We are forecast heavy, thundery rain showers all day today so I'm going to get my 2 potted Begonias, which are still flowering well, and put them under the shelter of the grapevine to dry a little.

I've done the same but I've put them in a cold frame :)

Mine will be going to my unheated greenhouse eventually ...

A few of mine are starting to "shut down" now but soon I will have to remove them all from their pots as I need them for my spring plantings. I don't have enough room on the balcony to put the spring bulbs/plants into other pots while the Begonias continue to flower on the railings.
