Pink Penstemon.

I don't have a name for this one. I just bought it as a Pink Penstemon. It's very tall and it has flowered brilliantly since the weather warmed up in early summer.

Well we have enough of that at the moment, have moved an entire border of plants and the soil was like sand, it was a wonder anything grew there at all!

We are hoping so HB, have moved most of the roses and got rid of those not garden worthy any more.......the GCs have some good deals on manure at this time of the year.....also composted bark which we like for the tree ferns etc..

I was given a nice pink Penstemon called Beech Park a couple of years ago, looks rather like this and has flowered continuously.

HB we have been doing the same buying every week. Our GC is doing 3 for £12...the manure does vary in smell!! .we try and get organic horse......like you we are redoing all our borders, thank goodness they are much smaller than yours! we also have to sort out our barrel pond, the weather is so unpredictable, at the moment we have lovely sunshine and showers more like April!!
