It hasn't bloomed like in the past-- but a near death experience drying out is probably the cause.

Thank you Jen.I gravitate to bold and colorful. Its too much for some maybe,but I try to make the most of the climate for those kind of plants. I ignore "busy".lol.

I want one. lol! It would do really well in my shade structure.

Should do great- Hummers will visit and fight over the blooms.
Especially since they bloom best in the winter. Hummers need all the help they can get then.

Luckily, there's a lot of flowering tropical trees here in San Diego for the hummingbirds. This is why the hummingbirds make nests in all the trees around here in January.
