We've returned from France to find all our 'Kousa ' fruit laying on the ground with a couple of exceptions , have you tried growing from the seed Andrew ? I haven't had any success ...

Amy - I haven't tried, but I did get some seedlings popping up in other parts of the garden earlier this year.

Really Andrew that's amazing I've tried different ways putting them in sand in the fridge over winter etc. nothing has worked I've taken some cuttings this year but i'm not holding out much hope but will keep my fingers crossed ...my tree is in the lawn which makes it harder for seeds to settle in soil ...
