Steragram It is growing in a free draining compost but not a gravel bed,What you are seeing is the top dressing of small stones i use on the surface most of my troughs and pots this has a variety of uses which I would probably have to write a blog to explain all of them

BTW I was pleased to see my bed of Saffron crocus's are all peeping through ...
