Red Caribbean and Thai Dwarf Papapaya Seedlings

On the left is Red Caribbean papaya and on the right is Thai Dwarf papaya. Some of these will go into the ground next early March. Photo taken Sept. 21, 2016.

It was extremely hot here. My 10' tall Red Caribbean papaya in the ground had burned leaves from the horrible heat wave.
Home-grown papayas are the beat, though. You can never get store-bought papayas to ever tastes as good, unfortunately.

Both papaya varieties have very different leaves. I love the gigantic leaves and very long petioles on the Thai Dwarf variety the best!
