They survive well with low water. I water mine with everything else and they grow. It can be overdone, and by the time they flower they are toppling over. They are hard to support because so succulent they break. The biggest one ever was about 4 feet diameter and tall. I water them less now.

It is a wonderful shape, I don't think I have ever seen one is such a perfect ball.

That is big. Makes the bird bath look tiny.
