Thank you Thrupennybit, They decided to make them 3 times their original size. I had a great crop of potatoes and veg for the summer season and for the winter season I will have Swede turnips, cabbage & leeks if all goes well.
The flowers you see at the centre of the plot look like Chrysanthemums in the distance , they are Marrigolds

Thats great they increased the size for you nothing is better tasting and eating fresh veg lovely to know ypu had good crops .
Yes Marigolds keep aphids away .
