Wow! What a job you've done with that. One of the best too. :)

Bathgate I am not totally sure why this one is going on longer than all the rest, can only assume the lower light level has not drained the leaves of nutriment like the others exposed to sun.
If were to see it for sale I would probably question the naming being much greener than normal.Having said that I had a plant same Variety change to all deep green a few years ago and was told that the the variegation in Hostas is not stable

That's the prettiest one I've ever seen.

So true Brian. They vary enormously depending on how much light they are exposed to. I split my 'June' in to four pieces last year, and they are all planted within 5m of each other, but the one in deep shade is almost entirely blue, and the one in the most sun is almost entirely yellow.

June has done the same here Karen in full sunlight and gone yellow - shall split it in spring and hope it survives.
The ones which you sent me Brian are still lovely and green they too are in shade and must love where they are they have been so pretty. I think Remember Me is my favourite of the bunch. O)

Mum...they will be fine. You wont kill them by splitting. They are really tough. The root systems are shallow but huge and very heavy!

The 30 inch post has done the trick in keeping the nasty slithery creatures off your lovely plant Brian ...

It looks very fresh and clean - no slug damage. Most of mine are winding down for the season
