not liriope?

That was my first thought too Karen, but I'm not sure.

Never shown any signs of flowering......feel like binning it ....all it does is rot off!!

Have you tried giving it a good talking to? I find a threat often works!

I will Andrew........is there any possibility it could be Lirope Big blue? because I am unable to find the one I bought, and this plant was clearly mis-labelled........

It might be. My friend reckons liriopes need heavy feeding and copious amounts of water if they are to flower.

Really.....no wonder I hardly get any flowers on ours, I did read that they liked acid soil!

Well hers are full of bloom and mine has three spikes.
