Karen we seem to get three every year, whether they are the same Mum and Dad returning, I have no idea!

Hmm...well they do say they return to where they were spawned....although that makes no sense at all cause then all the frogs in the country would be in very few ponds! They must spread out when it gets crowded. ? We see them every year in the garden, but none in the pond so far. I placed a toad in it, but. Seen no sign of him since.

They are so friendly Amy, not at all bothered when I put my hands in to clean out the weed.....
K we never see toads unfortunately, I love them more than frogs..
We just have to watch for Colin our daughter's daschund he won't leave them alone...

Well, thats my problem...the
LAbrador jus thinks anything that moves is a snack! Birds, moths, rodents, amphibians, slugs...all the same to her.

I well remember our old dog Barney grabbing them he use to froth at the mouth before he dropped them ...
