Hi Sheila! How are you? They really brighten up a rainy day don't they? But we need the rain too. Today I'm painting my livingroom.

Still doing well :)

Hi Paul, I'm fine thanks. Come over to my blog and see my garden in its autumn finery!

I will.

Thank you . . . and what colour is your living room now?

The color is called Willow. A pleasing departure from the monotonous whites & beiges. Im covered in it but its now onto the dining room lol thanks for asking

Sounds like hard work. I'd thought you might choose a 'fiery' colour, but probably Willow is more peaceful.

Humm now you got my wheels turning Sheila. I may go with a fiery accent, maybe curtains , throw pillows or artwork. Something i can change. Painting is a lot of tedious and hard work-80% is preparation 20% is actual painting, the fun part. The end result is certainly worth it.

I only thought that because many of the photos that you post of your flowers tend to be 'hot' colours. Indoor décor is obviously a different matter! Yes - painting is very hard work (I hope you have some beer at the ready in the fridge, lol!).

Love the French Marigolds... A favourite from days when I grew annuals from seeds. They have such a distinctive perfume - no wonder they scared the white fly from the tomato plants in the greenhouse! :D

They bloom right up until the first frost.

...And it's so easy to save the seeds from them too!
