Thanks Homebird but it wasn't the intention to have all these. My first one and the biggest, Acer Pamatum (Atropurpureum I think) was an enticement from T&M. Then I liked the look of Inara Shidare so bought it. Orange Dream, Little Princess and Butterfly were leftovers from a tray of mixed Acers from the flower market when I was a florist and Phoenix was an impulse buy in Morrisons last year. The early leaves are a wonderful red. In pots they are easy to put in the borders if there is a gap.
