It was new this time last year in a sale Angela so was wrapped up well last winter ,it's grown a lot I'm not sure whether to leave it this year or wrap it again ..

Wrap it Amy....I would, we wrapped our red one, but still lost it.....too wet and the soil too heavy!

I've just left a comment on your last Phormium photo,in regards to wrapping in winter? maybe it wasn't my fault,after all,but I guess it didn't help....

I have the plain green one of these, remarkably it survived those awful winters with no protection!, it died back completely then resprouted two new sets of leaves from the base!! , It is on the south side with protection from the house wall but still amazed me after all the things we did lose.

I am surprised you can get away with these, we have trouble with them in the South, can only grow the common one......
