Fuchsia 'Swingtime' & an unknown variety on our balcony during September 2006

Thanks, Hywel, but whatever it was it's now gone to the land of Fuchsias in the sky! :-D)) LOL! Didn't survive the winter on my balcony, not even protected in the greenhouse on the table in the most sheltered corner of the balcony. Nor did this one either! It pains me to lose them but I can't bring all the plants inside the flat or we'd have to move out & freeze to death ourselves!

Some need more protection than others. Some are sort of 'semi-hardy' if there's such a thing. I bring a few of mine into the house but there's more room here than in a flat.
I also put a few of the ones I 'don't trust' in the shelter by the back door, and if it gets severely cold I bring them inside the door until it gets a bit milder again.
Every winter it's a case of shuffling around all the plants in the house lol

The 'unknown' one looks a bit like Marinka from its habit and colour :)
