Here are two Amaryllis with buds in our kitchen. The one in the brown pot is an Amaryllis Anglo-American hybrid whose first flowers have died & a second bud has appeared.

The other one is a hybrid from before the Anglo-American hybrids were created. I was about to put it away for the winter when I spied the bud!
