Growing from a ripe berry I pushed into a crack in the bark of an apple tree six years ago,

Amy - there are male mistletoes and female mistletoes. You won't get any berries unless you have both sexes growing close to each other.

That would involve sending away again for some more ripe berries, and then there's only a 50/50 chance of getting the right sex plant (after a three year wait).

I did know that Andrew but don't know which sex mine are ,I had 2 more but my son accidentally broke the branch off which they were growing on when sawing a branch off an Oak tree next to it , silly boy Ha ha .... I picked my berries up several years ago they had fallen from a tree in a churchyard ..
