Native Buckeye..

Our native buckeye develops these Avocado like fruits. Only edible if you boil for hours,changing the water a few times. Native Americans did.

The consensus of those biologists and anthropologists who have done that? No,you would have to be very hungry to eat that.
Then again,I figure who likes poi or breadfruit or anything you were not raised to eat? I hate ginger and curry!
