I always loved feeding the ducks as a child and now I'm getting on a bit!!!!I still love to feed the ducks....brown bread and I take a few mealworms over for the robin and blackbird.

Hi Karen there is a wide range of characters among the ducks and geese. I had a flock of six geese fly directly towards me, and land just in front of me, the other day...they were hungry. We haven't got an overflow of ducks here Amy. The river Derwent runs alongside the River Gardens, and there is a wildfowl area for them further along the river.
