Yes, very regal. Hundreds of species of palms are commonly grown here in San Diego's beautiful subtropical climate.

I wish I had planted more. I do have 2 so lucky to have them. But they really compliment our small bungalow homes in California with their not large,not small,size. They also fit the Spanish style and the rancher..all popular here.

The Howea's. They deliver the tropical look best, despite not being as tropical as other palms.
