This beautiful Puerto Rican palm is not too common here in San Diego. It's loves tropical rainforest conditions, where it's native. Photo taken Jan. 31, 2017 in the Botanical Building.

Thanks! :>)) It's sometimes difficult to take photographs in the Botanical Building because the sun come through the laths and casts many shadows.

No, I don't think it does here. This one always looks good and it's been in there for years. It think it has 4' of trunk, maybe more.
