It looks terrific! I heard about your horrible storm. My friends in Boston are dealing with a blizzard!

It was 80ºF here today (where I live in San Diego). Tomorrow is going to be about ten degrees cooler, though. We're expecting rain tomorrow night (which we still need).

Oh I wish I can visit you for a week, lol. This is the same storm that hit Boston. New York usually gets it first, then it moves up to Boston towards Canada.

Come and visit. :>)) I keep saying that to my friends in Boston, even though I know they have to work.

I guess it was Nor'easter Nico, right? I would love to experience an Nor'easter once in my life (of course, indoors). lol! My Hawaiian thin-blood couldn't tolerate the horrible cold!

We've learned a long time ago that preparation is key. Keeping the food pantry well stocked. The aftermath is always the "fun" part. Digging out, checking on neighbors, trying to get back to normal. Spring will be here soon.

Yes, I would guess preparation is very important! I would guess in some cases a matter of life and death in a really big storm. It's difficult for me to relate to...because I've never lived in a climate where it was so harsh I couldn't go outside and get to a store. It would be kind of exciting, though.

Unfortunately there are always casualties, accidents happen. Last year was horrible, lots of casualties.

Yes, the casualties are the horrible part to such storms. I remember seeing all the coverage during Hurricane Sandy. It seemed like it took a year or more for some people to get their lives back to normal. :>((

I do feel very fortunate to live in San Diego where the weather is almost always spring-like during the winter.

Yes but i understand what you mean about it being exciting. I love a big nasty summer storm

I would love to see the big summer thunderstorms! We get them here sometimes, also. (not as badly as the East Coast, though). It's typically during the monsoonal flow (late June through mid-Sept).
