Cannot resist these plants, not that they do that well in our garden, still I keep trying...

One chance to grow in my garden, If plants don't do well that's it! Only the silver leaved Pulmonaria seems to not get mildew here.

Funnily enough I have always grown the deep blue Pulmonaria, but I don't have a single one in this garden, and they would really brighten my perennial borders. Must do something about it. When they get mildewed I just cut the leaves right back. They produce fresh new ones that are generally clean.

Karen ours are just coming through Blue Ensign? is that the one you mean? unfortunately the vine weevils are partial to them, that is why I have lost so many ??? I agree with you re the cutting back, has always worked for me!
Siris although I do agree, but there are some plants worth the work and effort, and they are a picture in the spring!!

Yes, thats the one! Come to think of it, I did plant some white ones in the back garden last year. I shall have to go and see if theres any sign of them yet! I think I'll look put flr a paler blue this time. Rachel has a lovely pale pink one that I must nick a bit of. Just as well you posted this or I'd have forgotten about that one in Rachel's garden. I was going to pinch some when I saw it last year! :)

I just had a look and two of the three white ones are just opening their first snowy white bud. The other one has been disturbed by me planting so will be later, but it seems to be alive! So lovely to see them! :)

Pleased to hear yours are still alive, you don't seem to have as many problems with vine weevil as we do in the South!! luckily...
