For all who wanted to see more of it.
I am well pleased as the buds last year aborted and I never found out why

Very beautiful. I could quite easily start collecting these if I had space for an alpine house...hmm...do you think Scott would let me have another few metres of the parking space...I mean, after all, we are going from two cars to one this spring, so wont need as much car park...;)

Very nice Brian.
You wouldn't need an alpine house for these CK.A shade house, perhaps?

Phil they are not rated very hardy I am keeping frost out of the glass house it is in,there is another deeper pink double pushing up buds another week or so for the flowers.

Well shaded though Brian? I have one of these you sent me with plump buds pushing up.I think it's 'Taeka' though the label is a bit worn.Iwas hoping it would be open in time for Saturday, but probably not.
This one had buds last year, but came to nothing.

Phil that is correct I only have the two Japanese ones.
Will need to work on the divisions of these flower wise they seem to go backwards after a couple of years I know they say to break them up after flowering and discard the old but seems a bit drastic at the price they are ,I did the one you have but also killed a different one .

It is certainly making it up to you this year. That is a lot of flowers on a relatively small plant. My hepaticas are really struggling this year.
