Fritillaria sewerzowii - 2017 (Fritillaria sewerzowii)

This bulb brings back memories as I saw it growing in the wild in Kazakhstan in 2008 in mountain scree. Hardy enough to be grown in the UK, it requires to be kept relatively dry in the summer. Flowers can be brown, orange or yellow, carried on stems between ten and sixteen inches tall.
