have shown this variety before but a different group.
Thinking (thats quite hard) 1/2 stems a corm how many must there be growing there

I would expect that, all the week your temperatures have been several degrees higher than here in the west.
So not sure what goes on in Pembrokeshire

Nice pink, really like this plant, I have it in blue just about to burst into flowers.

I have a blue one that doesn't flower until later, and ditto a pretty pale pink one that Owdboggy sent me. I wonder why mine come later. Yours is beautiful.

A similar question was asked recently but all I can really tell you is that the growth is very different Solida George Baker grows from small corms that die down quite soon after flowering and Flexuosa your blue one is on a fleshy root stock similar to Dicentra this will stay in leaf most of the year given the right conditions,I have the blue one in pots but slugs destroy it in the ground so I no longer try.
As to why it would flower later just the position they are in I suppose.
