Its a landscape shrub. Some are Topiary..on their own they can be 20' small trees.

These in person are small flowers Waddy- cover the shrub. I think it blooms most of summer.

It looks like New Zealand tea tree (Leptospermum scoparium).

Maybe you can help id a tree. It's a tree which only blooms this time of year for a short period of time. I posted two pics. It's driving me nuts! I can't remember the name of the tree. lol!

No,I cant say I know what it is. Looks like something from Madagascar. That spiny/xeric tree look.
You might try Agaveville.com. Palmbob is moderater. He knows everything that grows in soucal!

Thanks for the info. I wish I could remember the name of the tree. They're almost all finished flowering. I believe it comes from south Mexico or Central America.
