They were outdoors all winter in a spot that has overhead protection. Kept dry like this they easily handled the regular minus 5 or 6°c that the garden saw.

Amy - you don't have any? I'm disappointed in you!
Siris - the pseudobulbs are monocarpic so any growth will be at the base of last years pseudobulbs.
DD - I've lost so many over the years. Virtually all my stock last winter (2015/16).
