Interesting . . . ours only flowers after the bracts: is yours the other way round?

This is normal for mine Sheila ,the foliage is evergreen ...

Ours is evergreen too Amy, and red bracts out now.

I have one like this, and anther one that's like yours Sheila. So perhaps not all of them have the new red foliage first. Actually, this would be a great plant for a problem spot I have at the back. :) Lovely pure white blooms.
