I have had some frost damage to the central leaves on my variegated Arbutilon, which is now 6 ft tall against the east facing fence. Must buy a large piece of fleece for it for next winter.

Looks like a little urang otan monkey asleep in the middle. (probably haven't spelt that right but you know what I mean.

Hot days, clear starry nights, lead to a frost in the morning which catches us out and damages those emerging shoots and white Camellia flowers.

I thought there was an unknown furry animal in there, waiting to pounce! Love ferns, tho' don't have a tree fern to worry about myself.
