Flowered well this year. Not sure if it's P. Floribundas or P. Japonica, the flowers are upright, not drooping.

Ff, I've just looked up the two Pieris you mention in my (very old) Hilliers manual, and it says that P. floribunda has erect panicles, and P. japonica drooping ones . . . so now you know!
I was going to give away this manual, but maybe I'll keep it a little longer :)
