Delicate pink and blue Iris with an orange beard. Bought last year as I thought slugs had done for the other pink and blue, French Cancan.

I am running out of things to say, another beauty .
I will have to get reading on the sizes as in "tall" etc
I was going to ask about watering them or do you just let them get on with it

Gg, I don't usually water, except newly planted ones and then carefully with a little can to avoid getting the water onto the rhizome and neck which is where rot can start.
They got a thorough soaking last night. First proper rain for about 6 weeks. We are sheltered by The Isle of Wight and rain fronts often miss us completely.

BUT, I have been out staking them today as the heads, so heavy with rain that even the sturdy stems are leaning.

I had this one in my garden a while back. Hasn't bloomed for a few years now. It came free with an order and I remember the colours where much nicer than I expected .

Florentine Silk, which I have seen in a Supplier's Garden is an absolute stunner in these colours, but if yours was a bonus, can complain.
Are your Iris just starting in Canada, mine all finished a while ago , except an odd rebloomer or two.

What else?
See who else is growing Iris germanica (Orris).
See who else has plants in genus Iris.
