Bought this about 3 weeks ago as a fairly small plant for £3.50 and it has more then doubled In size.

Thanks Thrupennybit, I do like Hydrangeas and in my last garden had quite a few. The other week I was in a big chain garden centre and they wanted about £30 so when I saw this, I just had to give it a go. Jen

I dont blame you I would if done the same . I had to get rid of mine because it was clinging like ivy to next doors fence who can and has been funny about whats on or by their fence and did nt have room else where it grew lovely in the shaded part of my garden yet it says it needs sun my son has it now but not growing as well .

It must have been hard getting rid of it. Everything I've read when planning were to plant it was they do better in shade. Were I put it is quite shady so did searches for plants for the shade and it came up with Hydrangeas among other plants.

How strange I read it needs plenty of sun but also shade not to hot a place.

Hopefully one of us is right lol. It gets a couple of hours morning sun, then is I the shade the rest of day. Will have to wait and see how it does.

As long as it get some sun and shade it should be ok.
