Thank you Thrupennyb ♥
Siris, you've got eagle eyes! I was wondering if someone would ask me about them or not. It's a new plant for me, got loads of seeds from my parents. They are called "Bassia scoparia" (or "houki gusa" in JP, meaning "broom grass").
Here's the Wikipedea site:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bassia_scoparia
And here are the images:

* If you can't open the link above, please google "ほうき草" or "Bassia scoparia".
They will turn pink(-ish) in autumn. I can't wait to see them in pink!

Your very welcome.?

All very well Tomoe, all that wiki stuff! But what do they taste like?

The sparkly plant is totally ornamental, unfortunately (^^♪

Oh, won't eat them then. Looked it up, recognise it. Prefer these young plants appearance, the older ones (annuals) look like green guardsmens' hats.

LOL!!!!!
They do look like guardmens' hats, but in green (and they will turn pink later on).
