A frequent visitor now. Moves like lightening. Had to keep very still just in the door-way and waited 15 minutes. Very distinctive large ears and eyes and long tail. It likes hedgehogs dry food. Hope fox doesn't catch him. Not sure whether the birds would attack him - does anyone know?

We do have sparrow-hawks - from the local golf course, Wohlibuli. However I've not seen them in our garden - it is quite dense. Just see them overhead and occasionally plummeting down on some poor creature. And mouse seems to keep quite close to our home.
Thank you for comment about photograph Marguerite.

A hawk or other type of predatory bird will certainly take him if they can. I don't know what types you have there. Most tend to specialize in their prey, some take rodents, some small birds and others fish. So he has to be fast to stay alive!
