We always seem to get a deluge of rain when it's paeonia flowering time!!!

Hi Sheila, this looks like the 1 that I have, {well several scattered about, after division}, don't know what variety though, it was already in the garden when my parents , my twin brother and I moved here 57 years ago, Derek.

Hi Sheila, yes they're very long lived perennials, I think they can get to 100 years or more, and you're right, we always seem to get lots of rain when they start to flower, that plus the weight of the flowers bending the stems, you just can't win, Derek.
