Wisteria by front gate

I've held my breaththe last couple of years waiting to see if it will bloom due to at my last house, my Wisteria stopped flowing for years and only started again the year I moved.

Thanks Dawn, there is another one further along the wall but I had to cut it right back as it had not been pruned in years and come off from the wall, growing all through the other shrubs and trees. I've put subport wires up and now cross fingers, that one might flower next year as well.

..so now you can breathe in the knowledge that it wasn't 'you' that caused it to stop flowering :)

Lol, thanks Karen, back in Kent, we used to have a gardener/friend come once a week and think it was probably due to him. Hubby used to be "upset" by all the others around us flowering and of course I helped by pointing them all out lol. I was worried as had never pruned them before so really read up on it.

When I worked at a nursery, I was told that if Wisteria stops blooming that you have to "be mean to it" and cut it back hard.
