Gnarly, just got a reply. Both are Frere, not GCG, which is more yellow. She says it is because it is a chimera that it sometimes has 4x4x4.

Super, my terminal flower is in tatters, thanks to the hail, but the next bud down has now opened, normal configuration, 3 sepals, 3 petals, 3 beards and 3 anthers. Looks just like yours now, but I am going to relabel mine Grand Canyon Gold, cause mine with the 4x4x4 can't be Frere.
