Iris pseudocorus alba (For my File)

Iris pseudocorus alba (For my File) (Iris pseudacorus (Yellow Flag))

From bought seed. Quoted as from cream or white parents. So far 5 plants are cream. I would call them pale lemon. They are pretty but I was hoping for a white one. Will have to reduce the ones that have flowered, insufficient room.

These are in the border, I have a large pot of the remaining seedlings in the pond. Maybe one of those will be white. I only need one, oh, and with the markings.

I hope one produces a white one for you.

Thats a shame.

They are beautiful and the colour really stands out , but they will have to be seriously thinned, now that I know these are all identical. There is a large pot in the pod, and some in a shady corner, neither of these have flowered yet, so still a chance.

What else?

See who else is growing Iris pseudacorus (Yellow Flag).

See who else has plants in genus Iris.

This photo is of "Iris pseudocorus 'Krill'?" in Siris's garden
