Thank you Andy.

We've had a good May..the month has ave. 75f. Thats 6f over the average May. On par with our July historical ave. Lows have been above average too. Every bit helps.
Plus those are hayx temps..add 2f or so for south Hayward. 77f sounds right for my home. So far!

Funny,I rooted a Plumeria cutting indoors started in March...and its rooted and now sending out leaves on a hot windowsill.
Andy- that would have taken most of summer outdoors.

That's pretty warm for Hayward. That's good for the plants, though.

I'm not sure what the average has been for May. All I know we've had hotter and cooler than normal weather. It's usually more average for May.

I know there's a lot of Plumeria tree flowering and the Tipu and Golden Medallion trees are in flower now.

June is COOL!..we had rain today. Light rains..got things muggy. I still had to water the fern shade garden...but the water went farther thanks to clouds and humidity.
I've been pruning -hard. I pulled out three blue Tequila Agave shoots. I dont want a clump. They came out very easy.
But..Aloe's Euphorbia's..pruned,thinned. I need room to breath..lol.

I did see rain up there. It's so surprising to hear about rain up there in June. Rain is pretty much unheard of in June in the SF Bay Area. It's good to have rain, though.

It's been cool up here for June, also. I think next week the heat will return. I kind of like the cooler weather to get things done in the front and back yards.
