For my records the 1st (and only one) little peach. I purchased this bare root in January and planted it against the new pegola.

Brilliant there's nothing quite like picking your own peach off the tree , ours are taking shape but not so many this year ...

Amy it was you that inspired me to have a go, I didn`t expect any fruit at all this year so although its only one I am very pleased.

Aw Stroller I hope you have a lovely crop ,do you have your plant situated where you can put something over the top to stop rain falling on it to prevent leaf peach curl ? if not watch out for it and take any leaves off you recognition as Peach leaf curl ... also something called Brown Scale little shell like creatures found on the stems .. don't worry you probably won't have any of these but worth keeping an eye out for , Good luck :o)

Amy thanks for the info, its growing along side of the new pergola next to the kitchen wall so unless I find an old brolly it will have to take its chances.

Phyl...do you remember mine? What a disaster. It was so beautiful, with deep purple foliage. The winter weather ruined it. It got a devastating attack of peach leaf curl. Please get a fleece jacket for it for the winter. I'd hate to see another one end up like mine.....sob....;)
