Hamamelis 'Rochester' (Hamamelis mollis (Chinese witch hazel))

Very fragrant hybrid witch hazel (H. vernalis and H. mollis). Flowers open much earlier than Hamamelis x intermedia and can last over a month. This was taken at the end of January and flowers were still open by the beginning of March.
