I particularly like Viticella Clematis, although smallish flowers they are produced in abundance. This is 'Etoile Violette'.

How lovely...and so early (to my mind) because I don't get any viticella flowers before mid July!

I tried to move this Clematis which is growing up a Trachelospermum to the other side of the window, up a 'Mermaid' Rose, but all the root refused to go, so now I've one each side of the window, that makes 2 ? no 3 actually.

Thats a beauty :o)

I am going to have to clip it, actually the Trachelospermum underneath, because it keeps fouling the closing of the door. Shame as it's covered in buds of the fragrant white flowers.

Beautiful, so many flowers......

Love scent Wildrose? The Trachelospermum has a powerful fragrance, the Clematis none which is just as well as it might knock you out!
