Persicaria 'Painters Palette' and Geranium 'Blueberry Ice'.

Painters Palette is my favourite, well behaved, Red Dragon is upwardly mobile (and horizontally) and Purple Fantasy somewhere in between.

They are gorgeous together! The geranium is a lovely colour. On my favourites.

Pair of beauties .

Karen, I heard it is sterile, don't know if this is correct. I know G. Anne Foulkard is.

I love that geranium and the Painters Palette is so interesting. It is a new one for me.

I visited their nursery recently, only open by by appointment, difficult to locate. Hugh selection of Hostas and Epimediums ( I bought an 'epsteinii' and a Beesia). Very enthusiastic plantaholics. Could have bought a lot more, if I but had the room!

Ah, good. That sounds promising then. I bought another plant just to make the pstage worthwhile..a nepeta. But I stopped looking as I have a tendency for craziness on plant websites!

Worse still, if you are visiting and the owner is showing you around and enthusing about his collections. By the way Karen, they can't keep up with putting new additions onto their website, so if you are ever looking for a particular plant, ask, they might have it in small quantities.

Thank you Sue...my plants are on their way to me! :)

I hope you both will be very happy. Lol.

Its a lot taller than I expected, but that's good because I have a perfect spot for a taller one. :)

The colouring on Blueberry really shines out, but it does need a bit of surrounding support. The above border is shady except early mornings.

Ok, well mine will be supported by the roses around it which will also offer some shade on sunny days...when we get them! Its lovely and warm today, but as usual the wind is spoiling it 26 mile an hour gusts. Not gale force, but strong enough to blow my sunhat off!

Sun hat blown off! Have you trained your dogs to 'Go Fetch'.
