Clematis sieboldii (For my File)

Third season lucky for sieboldii, which died back with wilt last two seasons in the Spring. It really is in too dry a place for its comfort. Not a very strong growing Clematis anyway.

That's a shame, Thorney. I am watering mine well this year. I really thought I had lost it a couple of times. Will it survive long term, I certainly can't get the root moved to a better location.

Glad I took the photo when I did, it is suffering in this hot weather. All flowers now shrivelled.

What a shame Siris I would cut it back if its that bad for survival.
