Red Volunteer was the first named daylily I bought, and after a few experiments, have developed a shyness for using solid red flowers as parents. Here I crossed it with a nice yellow cascade type and got a bunch of red ones. This is probably the best of the bunch as it is a cascade type. It measures at 7.5"

Its gorgeous love it. I suppose it like mixing colours with paint dark colours are more stronger so in painting you use darker colours when mixing sparingly.

I knew Gg would like it. Red Volunteer is a really tough plant, but it is a large round form that doesn't re-bloom and I am trying for something that will repeat.
